I love to make play dough with the kids.
It’s fun and easy,
and produces a crop of happy kiddos…
Not sure why, but sometimes they even shed their clothes in the process.
Clothes, or no clothes, it’s great fun, and keeps the children busy for a long time…
Making pizzas,
And snow men. 🙂
Here’s the recipe…
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1 teaspoon cream of tarter
1 cup boiling water
1 tablespoon oil
Food coloring
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Boil water and add food coloring. Add oil. Mix.
And have fun!
A few tricks of the trade…
I measure a cup of water in a glass measuring cup and bring it to a boil in the microwave. That way it’s already measured and ready. I then mix the food coloring in with the water before I add the oil. It seems to mix better that way.
And if you want really bright colors, you really have to use Wilson cake decorators food coloring.
Enjoy!
Blessings!
