A Long Day

Today we went to Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Davidson removed Evangeline’s stitches, and I shared my concerns about the surgery with him. I really don’t think he realized how well she can walk. He has so many patients with Spina Bifida that he sees, and Evangeline is really not a typical Spina Bifida patient.

Long Day Tomorrow

Tomorrow we go back to CHOP again in the morning for the orthopedic doctor to remove the stitches in Evangeline’s foot. We have decided that we will get a second opinion before scheduling surgery, and either way, I think we have decided to postpone indefinitely surgery on her good foot.
