I have been blessed beyond measure by your many messages and comments of encouragement. Your words have shown me that God is using my blog to encourage and inspire so many. You have shared story after story of how God has used our situation to encourage you in the paths many of you are traveling.
Know this.
God has broken our hearts for the orphan. I have walked the halls of an orphanage in Ch*na and seen the vacant, lost, lonely, eyes of the children. I have spent the last two months loving and caring for two teens whose lives bear the scars of a childhood without parents.
I will spend my life heralding the cause of the orphan on this blog.
My journal is filled with prayers that God would use me to make a huge difference in the lives of many children. I will not abandon this blog because of one malcontent.
Our children are performing on Friday in The Nutcracker with The Atlantic City Ballet. Our home is alive with all the preparation that entails.
I am also sewing new Marzipan tutus for the professional dancers along with schooling and caring for our children.
I’m taking the tutus down to the studio today for their final fitting.
I will be back soon to write about God’s work in our lives and our hearts as we daily choose to love the children!
I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. Isaiah 42:16
Blessings!
I am so sorry that someone is being negative. They must have a miserable life to want to spread their misery ! You are doing a great job and your kids are thriving ! Instead of a life with no future, both girls now have a chance to grow up and be happy adults.
You and your family are an example of selfless love to us. May God continue to bless your family as you daily seek HIM!

Always encouraged by your heart and focus. And, I love seeing the work of your hands – what magnificent beauty you are able to make out of seemingly nothing – sounds like someone else I know. 🙂

Yes it is Much easier to ignore the orphan, to pretend they do not exsist, BEFORE you meet them ! Before you hold them. Before you Love them. My heart breaks all the time for them. Your blogs help to fill the void I feel inside for them till I can return to China and get to Hold, and Love these children again. God Bless Y’all Diane.
