Evangeline has made fantastic improvement, and we are going home tomorrow morning!
She walked quite a long way out of her room, and even went up and down four steps today. You can see the pink walls that are her bedroom.
She’s still in so much pain when she moves, but she is really working hard so she can come home.
When she is resting, most of the time she is pretty comfortable.
A hospital bed and walker are supposed to have been delivered to our home today. She’ll have to stay on the first floor for a while.
You can see she is just exhausted after PT and OT come and get her up.
And David won the award for the most improvement in his class.
We’re so proud of him.
We are so thankful for all of your prayers and for this surgery going so well. I know we have a long way to go even after we get home, but it will be so nice to be all together as a family again.

Years from now, when you`re going to read my message, you will understand that you and your family are a protest against those who toss souls away.
Woe to them, woe to them that toss children away.
You are a poem, you are a statement, you are a victory, you are kindness, you are beauty, you are the love of Mark and Diane, and most importantly….you will be the defender of love, defender of the Lord at the appropriate time. There will be times when you will be bitter, there will be times when you will question things, but know this: Good is good and bad is bad… Good comes from the Lord, and bad comes from the enemy. Pray and obey. Please pray to the Lord when you`re in trouble.
