Good Night All

Evangeline has been awake sporadically since around 6pm. She does still have some sensation in her right leg which is a good sign, but she has no function in it.

Surgery Tomorrow

We have been getting all ready to leave bright and early Monday morning for Evangeline’s surgery. She is first on the list.
She had to have a hot soapy bath, be all washed down with antibacterial wipes and be put to bed in freshly washed pajamas and linens.

Yesterday At CHOP

Yesterday was a very long day.
We took Evangeline to Children’s to see Dr. Campbell for her spine first, and then to get her casts off and get her new braces.

We waited and waited, and finally after two trips to X-ray, we finally saw Dr. Campbell.

Today’s Visits

I’m not sure where to begin.
We saw Dr. Campbell today at CHOP, and we really liked him. There are still many questions to be answered about Evangeline’s back and whether or not she will require surgery right away or later.
