Ivy Joy

We are on our way to Children’s Hospital with Evangeline, but I wanted to ask all of you to pray for sweet Ivy Joy.

Ivy is a precious tiny girl who has been home from China about nine months. She has a severe heart condition and has had several surgeries. Some of which have unfortunately […] Read more…

CHOP Tomorrow

Tomorrow we go to see the orthopedic doctors for Evangeline’s foot. The doctor is going to take out her stitches. He did not use the dissolvable kind because he was afraid of infection.
Evangeline decided tonight she would take the other boot with her tomorrow just in case she can fit it on her […] Read more…

More Wind

The winds are really blowing hard again here as the back half of the storm moves across South Jersey. We are still doing well though and have not lost power.
Praise God!
The girls weathered the storm well too.
And we have yet another memory we share with them.
They did not seem scared at […] Read more…

A Lull?

All is quiet here, and we still have power!
We had some strong winds and rains, but no downed trees or damage from what we can see.
I know many parts of the coast have been pretty badly hit, but so far we are just fine!
Thanks for your prayers!
Diane

Please pray especially for the lives […] Read more…

Eliza Jane

Eliza has been with us for six weeks now.
She seems more comfortable.
She smiles a lot.
She points about things that need to happen on schedule.
She hoards pretty much everything in her bed.
She likes routines, and gets very upset when things don’t happen on time.
And, after six weeks, I have to […] Read more…

Medical Update on Evangeline

We have spent the last two days at CHOP with Evangeline.
We saw infectious disease yesterday for her bone infection. Her blood work looked wonderful.
Her foot is healing, and she will go back on Wednesday to have her stitches taken out. The dr. usually uses stitches that dissolve, but since he is dealing with […] Read more…

Living The Miracle

There is no question in my mind that we are living a full fledged, only God, bigger than life miracle.
Our youngest daughter, Olivia, was only three months old when God began to really break our hearts for the fatherless. Olivia turned three in August, and the very next month, we brought home BOTH of […] Read more…

Evangeline turned 14 on Saturday, and David turned 7 on Sunday.
