Beautiful Testimony of God’s Grace

I saw this on a friend’s facebook page this morning and just had to share it with you.

There are so many things we don’t understand about 9/11 and all the tragedies in our lives, but there is one thing I pray that we all come to understand,  and that is God’s great love for us.

My New Facebook Page

As many of you know, I have been working on developing (and learning about :)) my facebook page. It is my desire to provide a forum for my writer friends and adoptive families to have another place to advertise their books, blogs, and adoption fundraisers and giveaways.
Please like my page and share it on your […] Read more…

Wherein I Grew to Know Love

I was reading a friend’s blog and praying for a very happy birthday for this sweet old friend, when I came across a link to Pink Saturday at the bottom of her post.  So, since I absolutely love all things pink, I thought I’d check it out.
Well, I fell in love.

Here So Soon?

I suppose I always knew this day would come.

This day, when my baby boy became a man.

Blessings!

A Charge to Keep I Have

As many of you know,  Mark and I have spent the summer days praying for wisdom about how we are called to educate our children.  Our oldest,  Andrew, will be seventeen this fall.  I have home schooled the children for a total of three years since Andrew started school eleven years ago.  The remaining years […] Read more…

These are just a few pictures of our children and their cousins at the pool.

Italian water ice at Mom Mom and Pop Pop’s pool…

And baby Olivia smiling for the camera…

Splashing in the pool with Victoria…

And everyone else…

Jonathan decided to swim around the pool on his own in the tube for the first time in […] Read more…

A New Theme

As you can see, I have been working on a new theme.  I really liked the other one with all of it’s feminine touches and petite floral vines swirling about, but it was an old theme and was missing so many of the newer features that are standard now.
The pictures didn’t align properly, and the […] Read more…
