Today has been an amazing day for Evangeline.
She is so very much better.
She is back to her spunky, ornery, spirited self.
I am just amazed at her progress.
When the Dr. came in yesterday afternoon and explained to me about the E-coli and how toxic the die off could be as it flooded the bloodstream, I was just overwhelmed at the severity of the prognosis.
The reality is we saw none of those negative affects. She has gotten progressively better all day.
The nurses keep coming in and commenting how they can’t believe how much better she is today.
I can believe it.
This has God’s handiwork written all over it.
As I have read through the comments on this blog and on Facebook, I can see that people from all over the world were praying for Evangeline.
And I am just amazed at how God used people from around the world to bless us.

I am really hoping we can go home tomorrow.
That would be another absolute miracle, but God can do it.
Evangeline has had it here. She is so very ready to go home, and she has been home for such a short time. She has had such a rough time since she came home from China.
The kids really miss me at home. Mark misses me, and I am so homesick for all of them.
This morning Victoria asked Olivia if she slept well, and Olivia said, “No, because I can’t see my mommy.”
I spoke to Eliza on the phone today and she asked, “How’s my Evangeline?”
How precious is that?
The little ones were up a lot last night, and Mark thinks it’s because things just aren’t right when Mommy’s not there.
It’s time for this hospital stay to be over.
Praying this is the end of this hospital stay…
And so unspeakably grateful for every miracle God has already done in our lives.

I am so very thankful that all is well with sweet Evangeline and I am sure all the kiddo’s at home just want the two of you back in the fold and want hugs from you….God is truly great in the miracles he performs….
